Hi! My name is Kenneth Finnegan.

This blog is the long form archive of all sorts of projects I’ve worked on and adventures had since I graduated high school in 2007.

I first majored in Mechanical Engineering at UC Davis for college, then moved to CalPoly SLO for my Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering.

After working as an EE for five years at Lam Research, I moved to Network Engineering in Arista’s TAC.

It’s quite possible that you’re heard of me before due to some of my most notable projects:

  • I started my own autonomous system
  • I built the Fremont Cabal Internet Exchange
  • I rebuilt the NS-Global Anycast DNS service
  • I helped build the MicroMirror project
  • Wrote my Masters thesis on APRS
